Vineyards of Distinction

This magnificent property situated on 31 acres is full of history in the Walla Walla AVA. Its mature vineyard sprawls over rolling terrain with unobstructed views of the Blue Mountains. Windrow Vineyards was part of the original Seven Hills Vineyard planted by Dr. Herb Hendricks and Dr. James McClellan in 1981.

Situated at an elevation ranging from 836-880 feet, the vines enjoy daytime heat followed by cool nights. This allows the fruit to hang longer in the season, developing complexity while retaining the acidity of high quality wines. The soils range from very deep deposits of windblown loess, to shallow layers over gravelly cobble stones.

Windrow Vineyard has a history in producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and more recently Charbono and Petit Sirah varietals.
